When a samboavtal needs a schedule

A short samboavtal can be enough for a simple rental flat and ordinary furniture. It becomes thin when the couple has a bostadsrätt, renovation contributions, inherited money, a parent-funded deposit, or one partner paying more because the other is studying or caring for children.

Add a schedule when the money story is uneven. The schedule should identify who paid the deposit, which furniture was bought jointly, whether renovation work increased value, and whether any transfer was intended as a gift, loan or shared investment.

  • List the bostad, estimated value, loan, monthly avgift and each party's contribution.

  • State whether inherited or gifted money remains separate.

  • Record large informal loans from parents, including repayment expectations.

Keep the agreement aligned with real contributions
